Established in 2010 by a group of like-minded musicians and educators working in Limerick, the Redemptorist Centre of Music is a unique project dedicated to providing excellent tuition in all musical instruments to people regardless of their background and encouraging the practice and performance through individual lessons, theory and ensembles.
Aims & Objectives
1. To provide an outreach programme to socially disadvantaged areas of Limerick.
2. To provide musical education through individual and group tuition in both theory and instrumental studies.
3. To use music as a medium to promote social, personal and community developement.
4. To re-establish the historical role of the Redemptorists in Limerick as music educators and to enhance the musical life of the Redemptorist Church in Limerick.
Perfectly located in the city centre the Redemptorist Centre of Music employs a team of expert, qualified teachers for all instruments and prides itself on providing excellent tuition to all ages and abilities.
The Redemptorist Centre of Music is located in a building that up until 2 years previous was occupied by St. Clements College, which is now in a brand new premises just around the corner. Because of this we have excellent facilites including ample free car parking, large classrooms, a large concert venue, theory rooms and practice rooms.
